The Tauese P.F. Sunia Ocean Center is a visitor center for National Marine Sanctuary of American Samoa, featuring exciting exhibits for all ages.
The Ocean Center is a learning, training, and discovery center that celebrates the importance of cultural and natural ocean resources in American Samoa. The exhibits address the value of coral reefs, ocean ecosystems, Samoan cultural ties to coral reefs, and natural and human threats to our reefs.
One of the main exhibits at the Ocean Center is the Science On a Sphere®. This room-sized global display system uses computers and video projectors to display planetary data onto a six-foot diameter sphere. The Science On a Sphere® is a unique and captivating educational tool that is used in science museums, visitor centers, zoos, aquariums, laboratories, and schools around the world.
The Ocean Center is a multi-purpose building that is also available for rent.
Saturday Tours at the Tauese P.F. Sunia Ocean Center
Meet Fetulagi the inflatable humpback whale, explore hands-on exhibits, and learn about national marine sanctuaries. Great fun for all ages!

Pacific Islands Ocean Exploration Center
Pacific Islands Ocean Exploration Center (OEC) is now open at the Aloha Tower Marketplace in downtown Honolulu where the public is welcome to browse the exhibits and learn about the marine sanctuary system.The OEC serves as a collaborative center highlighting the unique cultural and natural resources of sanctuaries in the Pacific Islands Region.
